Hand Made with Love Barkery started creating treats with love and care in 2017, with the aim to supply “real” healthy treats packed full of quality goodness at an affordable price.
We are locally situated in Sedgefield on the Garden Route in South Africa (the First African member of the Cittaslow movement) where ‘the tortoise sets the pace’.

As time progressed our 5 ambassadors demanded that we expand our range, so we did. We now proudly manufacture by hand several varieties of biscuits.
We pride ourselves in using only Traditional Unbleached stone ground Whole Meal Wheat flour as the base of all our Wheat based biscuits as it has no additives or preservatives. All other ingredients are of the finest natural human Grade quality available. (Nuts and seeds included)
Our lip-licious Liver Biltong is Free of all preservatives, even salt! The liver is perfectly sliced, and then sun dried to provide nothing but the natural goodness of liver and sunshine.
Our products are all preserved using the most traditional techniques, baking and sun drying with minimal odour which means minimal bacteria.
While working closely with one of our local Vets for many years and assisting in the making of a complete Raw dog food did it became clear that quality ingredients are of utmost importance as well as the exclusion of preservatives when either feeding our furry friends or merely giving them a treat.
Jayne’s Dog Treats have been happily received by several local Veterinarians, dog trainers, dog Lover’s country wide and even as far away as Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.
